Using the Set Location command

If your report is accessing a Data File directly:

  1. Choose the Set Location command from the Database menu. The Set Location dialog box appears. The Databases list contains a list of active databases appears in the Databases box (the large box on the left).
  2. Select the database for which you want to change the location. When you highlight a database on the list, the program displays the location (path) of that database in the Location box at the bottom of the dialog box.
  3. Set the new location for the database:
  4. Click Done. The program changes the report to reflect the new name and location.

If your report is accessing a data source via a protocol such as SQL/ODBC/ADO/RDO/OLEDB, and so on, you will see a different set of dialog boxes to help you set the database location.
