Public Folder Replication

Description

Provides information on servers that are replicating another Exchange Server's public folder.

MS Exchanger provides the facility of replicating public folders across multiple Exchange Servers. Thus, a folder can be originally created on an Exchange Server and copies of this folder can be made on other servers. The replication feature will ensure that the contents of these folders remain in sync. The program will provide replication information for all of the folders listed in each Exchange Server (represented by the profile(s) selected during logon) Public Information Store. To view this data, you must perform the following operations in Exchange Administrator.

  1. Select each Exchange Server's Public Information Store (Public Folder Resources tab). Record one of the folders that are displayed.
  2. Navigate through the folders tree (below Organization Node in Exchange Administrator) until you have selected the recorded folder. When you have found this folder, view it's properties.
  3. Select the replicas tab. All of the server's that are replicating the folder (including the Exchange Server which you selected in step 1) will be displayed.

The program will treat each entry under the replicas tab as record. And, it will perform this operation for each folder listed in each Exchange Server (assigned by the profile(s) selected during logon) Public Information Store.
